It’s no secret we’re big fans of Indie Ale House. From events at their barrel house to doing dinner at their brew pub on a very regular basis (try the chicken!)
On one of our recent trips we picked up a bottle of Zombie Apocalypse and in the spirit of ‘beer goes in your mouth’ I popped it open while Shawna was at the Ladies craft beer festival. No aging or pairing it with food this time, this was paired with a great baseball game instead!
Zombie Apocalypse is only available direct from the brewery. It sits at 10% ABV. Get it quick, it’s only made 2 to 3 times a year!
Appearance: black and zombie like. Light brown head that lingers.
Aroma: Coffee, vanilla and a hint of cinnamon.
Taste: Dark black coffee. Subtle vanilla that sticks to your mouth.
Aftertaste: A long, lingering darkness.
Overall: Scary and wonderful.
