We haven’t done enough reviews of Railway City!
Every time we try them we fall in love with the beer.
Like this time!
This weekend was finally warm enough to hang out outside for an extended period of time. So we brought a bottle of beer to a park near where we live and enjoyed the beer out in the sun!
Sham Bock is a Bock, which is traditionally a spring beer. It’s generally malty and spicy, two of my favourite flavour profiles.
Sham Bock is available at the LCBO for just $6.95 a bottle and it sits at 6.8% ABV.
Appearance: black with thick beige head.
Aroma: Dark bread. Light sweetness. Earthy, like fresh potting soil.
Taste: Dark malt heavy with maple syrup and vanilla and coffee. Spicy with clove and cinnamon.
Aftertaste: short and dry.
Overall: Perfect for spring!
