From what I have been told, the guys at Blood Brothers Brewing are some of the hardest working in the industry. I can’t confirm this but it seems they both have kept their full time jobs while at the same time running their full brewery (no contracts here!) in the evenings and weekends.
They are currently working out of a tiny space in the west end. Sadly this means no tasting room yet, but you can certainly purchase a bottle or two.
Their beer is only available at the brewery right now but keep an eye out at your favourite beer spots and I’m sure they’ll be popping up soon.
Today we are reviewing Paradise Lost.
Their Paradise Lost is a sour beer that comes in at 5% ABV and to be honest I forget how much we paid for it.
Appearance: Unfiltered. Straw coloured. Short head.
Aroma: Pungent like sour apple candy. Light and peppery. Reminds me of bubbly.
Taste: Surprising maltyness. Sour and caramel. Pizza dough flavours. Very thin. Cherry.
Aftertaste: Short and dry.
