This weekend was absolutely beautiful. Hovering around 30C and sun all around we were inspired to have some light cocktails in the back yard.
Inspired, we grabbed some Dixon’s Vodka we had picked up on a recent trip to Guelph. The picture you see above is how we tasted it first. Completely on it’s own, slightly chilled. You’ll see the tasting notes for that below.
We then made a simple cocktail using the following:
1 shot Vodka
1 slice lime
fill with sparkly water!
It came out wonderful!
Sadly this is not yet available at the LCBO but it sits at 40% ABV.
Appearance: Clear like water. Very filtered.
Aroma: very simple and clean. Slight pear.
Taste: Super simple. Exactly what we expect. The pear disappears under a hint of bread. Smooth.
Aftertaste: none.
Overall: Nice and clean flavour.

I LOVE this Vodka! Top shelf taste without the high end price. It’s sleeping secret yet to be discovered.
How much $$$$?
