You may have noticed a bit of an up-tick in these preview posts. This is because with the sun and heat come booze festival after booze festival and it’s hard for me to complain!
The Toronto Cider Fest has been around for two previous years so far, both of which were held at Dundas Square. This year though it seems they will be based out of Sherbourne Common (near Sugar Beach), a much larger location. I guess that shows how successful it has been.
This year there will be over 27 separate cider makers and hundreds of different ciders to sample. Along with the sampling, as always, there will be a huge list of entertainment from flair competitions to people’s choice awards (which cider is your favourite?)
The theme this year is Canada’s 150th birthday so expect a hell of a lot of Canadiana, I have a feeling hockey and plaid might be involved.
Shawna and I always have a great time and I highly recommend you check it out. You can get tickets here.
